*Artist’s Note on <Composition – the Philosophy of offloading>, 2018
*When a comet passes away, an intense light beam, so called tail of a comet, runs after. As we all are amazed by the scene of the tail of a comet, a light beam with great speed gave me an unforgettable feeling and joy on the way home one evening. Then, the impression goes on for a long time. I off-loaded things except the light-beams.
*Ambiguous, but clear three primary light colors, red, green, blue decorate the light beam.
As I let go of my greed, I emptied around the pillars of light. Instead, the unpainted space was bursting with many imaginations and inspirations and turned into the new one.
*The two divisions of the canvas refer to space. The strong contrast seems to me the epitome of an intense energy of light and I felt it easy to design it.
*Offloading for representing is my new plastic language. I try to make light beams vivid and stereoscopic with design and composition. And also, I colored each beam of light with a fine brush to make it look three-dimensional for six months. I take the load off my mind. And the emptied mind is bursting with light.
